- Vocabulary
- Roots packet page 1: Highlight words that are unfamiliar to you (these are the words you need to focus on studying, whether you don't know them well or don't know them at all)
- Notebook p. 2: Under each root's flap, write down 3 words you know well and 3 words that are more unfamiliar
- Notebook p. 3: For each root, write down 2 words you don't know as well plus a definition or sentence. This activity should help you learn the words and their meanings. Remember--spelling counts.
- For the vocabulary.com list of words, go to LA website > Units/Materials > Vocabulary > 1. Roots: tele, phon, photo, graph > Link to vocabulary.com list

- Weekly reading was graded last night--make sure you turned your in correctly. You should have received an e-mail from Mrs. Boyden:
- 1/1 = Graded (see score in PowerSchool)
- 0/1 = Not graded (something missing—check e-mail, fix, and resubmit for credit)
- No grade or no e-mail = Not turned in (submit for credit)
